DELLS SUMMER MINISTRY

Many international students live and work in Wisconsin Dells during the summer. Trinity partners with a Dells dormitory to develop relationships and assist J-1 Students in adjusting to and learning about life in the U.S. We provide practical help by delivering welcome bags and personal care items, taking students on tours, sharing meals and the Gospel.

We would love your help!  We have a few ways for you to be involved.

• THURSDAY, MAY 2:  J-1 Welcome Bag Packing Event at Trinity, 6-8 PM. Need 10-15 volunteers.
  
  
• DONATIONS NEEDED:  If you would like to donate items for student welcome bags, please see list below. 
  • ALL ITEMS MUST BE AT CHURCH BY SUNDAY, APRIL 28. Please place on designated table in church foyer.
  • Monetary donations can be received online now or by placing check or cash into Sunday offering designated “Dells Ministry”.
    
    
• FRIDAY, MAY 3:  Delivering Welcome Bags. Need 4 volunteers.
  
  
• TUESDAY, MAY 7:  Kickoff with J-1 Students at Kalahari Resort
  
  
• THURSDAY, MAY 9:  Volunteer Kickoff Picnic at the Alwins with anyone interested in being a part of J-1 Dells Ministry
  
  
• TUESDAY EVENINGS THIS SUMMER:  May 7–Late August, 6:30 – 8:30 PM.  We plan to be at the Kalahari Resort every Tuesday evening hosting activities and bible studies for the J-1 Students.

All items must be at the church by Sunday, April 28.  Also open to items you think would be useful beyond this list.  Items can be placed on designated table in church foyer.
